The Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is conducting a market survey and therefore are looking for information how to structure a possible future tender regarding instruments for shockwave therapy. The purpose of this request is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the suppliers regarding both the EC regulation and the requirement specification.

It will be highly appreciated if you could answer the questionnaire and upload before 25.2.2019.

If there are anything that is unclear please forward questions via the Ethics web portal. DALO emphazises that it will not influence your participation in a possible future tender of instruments for shockwave therapy to DALO, should you decline to participate or only partly fill out the questionnaire.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Shockwaves are defined as pressure waves (or transient pressure oscillations) that propagate in three dimensions and typically induce a clear increase in pressure within few nanoseconds.

The Shockwave therapy is used by physiotherapist in both national and international environment and used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, primarily the treatment of sports related over-use tendinopathies such as proximal plantar fasciitis of the heel, lateral epicondylitis of the elbow, calcific or non-calcific tendonitis of the shoulder and patellar tendinopathy ect.
