II.1.4) Short description:

SSI, Statens Serum Institute, is a public enterprise under the Danish Ministry of Health. On behalf of the Ministry, SSI will conduct the procurement of a pandemic influenza vaccine. The purpose is to ensure the needed stock of influenza vaccine in the event of an influenza pandemic. The offered contract regards reservation of the supplier's production capacity as well as delivery of pandemic influenza vaccine in the event of an influenza pandemic called by the WHO during the contract period.

The procurement will be carried out using a competitive dialogue. Before launching the procurement procedure, SSI will conduct market consultations with a view to preparing the procurement and informing economic operators of the procurement plans and requirements.
